If you are a fan of natural products lavender should be your no1 essential oil to use. Lavender is well known about its relaxing effects on the body, and its therapeutic abilities on the skin. Its ability to cure cuts, wounds, and skin irritation is amazing and fast. The aroma is calming and relaxing to the mind and body.
How to use?
There are tons of uses but we are just going to stick to the basics.
So here they are…
Just rub into your palms 2-3 drops of lavender oil and inhale the scent to calm your mind and brain. After, rub on your feet, and wrists (or any other place) for a quick soothing impact on the body.
#2 Sleep tight
Only one drop will do the business. Just rub one drop into your palms and smooth it onto your pillow to help you relax your mind and sleep better.
Cooking is all fun until you accidentally get slightly burned. Keep a small bottle of lavender oil in the house so you can immediately relieve yourself. No swelling, no redness, no signs of burn. It also works on cuts. Cleanses the wounds and kills bacteria. Hero!
#4 Nausea/ Motion sickness
Use a drop of Lavender oil at the tip of your tongue, behind the ears, or around the navel to ease the symptoms of motion sickness.
Use two drops on a tissue and fold it around a small ice cube. Push the tissue covered ice cube up under the middle of the top lip to the base of the nose and hold it there until the bleeding stops.
#6 Dry skin/ lips
Whether winter or summer your skin and lips need care, so adding a drop of lavender oil will hydrate them and make them soft again.
Springtime is the most wonderful time of the year, but allergies are about to begin. Put a drop of lavender oil and rub it into your palms, and then inhale deeply. You will feel better, we promise!
Before getting into the shower, massage your scalp with a drop of oil to reduce hair dandruff.
And finally, a hint of flavor!
